FAREWELL

The last of the flowering blooms on my crepe myrtle tree are about to disappear.  “So long.  Farewell.  I hate to see you go :(.  See you again next year.”

From my heart to yours!

MY INSPIRATION

FLOWER BED 4I had a great day today!  It got started early when I went out in the ministry in my community.  I regularly meet some really nice people, and I gain so much inspiration from many of them.  The picture above was the beginning of my inspiration this morning.  The homeowners were kind enough to let me snap some photos of their beautiful flower bed.

The photo below is part of the front lawn of a very sweet sister and her husband in my congregation.  I love crepe myrtles, so I simply could not resist snapping this shot.

CREPE MYRTLES (SIS HORNE)This last one, I took several months back while in another beautiful neighborhood.

FLOWERS 3I’m always just so amazed at the creativity of different people.  It just makes me appreciate all the more that as humans, we were made in the wonderful image of our great and awesome God.  (Genesis 1:27)

Have an awesome weekend!

From my heart to yours,

Maxine 🙂

TREES THAT WILL STOP YOU IN YOUR TRACKS

CREPE MYRTLES (PINK)Do you like flowering trees?  I do.  One of my favorites is the Crepe Myrtle.  It’s been so hot that I haven’t been on my usual walks in the park for a while.  But yesterday morning before the temperature climbed too high, I went walking and took pictures of some of the beautiful Crepe Myrtles.

I am just so fascinated with the way the flowering branches drip so abundantly in an assortment of colors–another testimony of how loving our Creator is–He has given us a variety of good things in abundance!  (Acts 14:17)  Have you ever stopped to consider how absolutely boring the world would be if we only saw things in black and white or just one or two colors?

So much of His beautiful creation stops me in my tracks.  I hope you enjoy my photos I took yesterday of trees that will stop you in your tracks.

Have an awesome day!  And as always, this is from my heart to yours!
