Anyone who knows me is aware of how excited I get about the good things in life no matter how big or small. Well, I just made my first digital sale of one of my nature photos–MAGENTA SKY–beautiful, pinkish-purple tulip magnolias that I photographed this spring during one of my walks in the park!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

One of my fellow lady entrepreneurs, Tanisha Parker, who is an artist is going to paint it!!! What an incredible, awesome honor!!!

Tanisha, thank you again from the depths of my heart for making this one of the best days of my entire life!!! 🙂 ❤

From my heart ❤ to yours ❤ !

Maxine 🙂

ART (PLANT 2)And out of the ground made the LORD GOD to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight.

(Genesis 2:9)

Art comes in various forms, and what may be considered art to some may not to others.  Oxford Dictionaries defines art as “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”  Isn’t it true that when we see the representation of different expressions of art, emotional reactions and responses are evoked within us?

It’s interesting to me that human life did not begin in a barren field but in a garden with trees not only good for food but also “pleasant to the sight.”  Therefore, from the start, man was made to appreciate the various forms of artistry, beauty, and design so evident around us.

As always, this is from my heart to yours,

Maxine 🙂

MOUNTAINS“Let the rivers clap their hands; Let the mountains shout joyfully together.”  (Psalm 98:8)

In addition to writing, I also love poetry.  Poems inspire us, make us think, and stir within us certain emotions.  One of my favorite poetic passages from the Bible is the verse mentioned above.

Now, while we know that it is not to be taken literally, doesn’t it paint a very vivid picture of the awesomeness of God’s natural creation?  It also helps us to appreciate that in a figurative sense, simply their sheer beauty and splendor shout out praises to His name.  How so?  Well, most of us have heard the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”  So, if a picture can tell a story just as well as a large amount of descriptive text, then how much more so can the marvelous things that our Heavenly Father has created!

When I was younger, I used to write poetry.  What about you?  Have you written any?  If so, you are actually painting with words.  Imagine that!  And simply writing a few lines expressing what’s in your heart could in fact brighten the day of someone who really needs some encouragement.  What are some things you do to compose your thoughts in an imaginative and heartfelt way?  Please feel free to share your concepts and ideas.

Well, that’s all for now.  Good night, and HAPPY READING!

As always, this is from my heart to yours,
